Ring of Rose

This sterling silver ring of Rose was made towards my Muse of the time and is directly inspired by a Song that i already used for Video Art and got curated into the Haifa-Bremen-Tandem exhibition.

When i discovered the song was named after the lyricist’s wife, i offered her a barter: one ring for one concert ticket to see her and her husband perform.

As you might surmise from the picture, this Rose’s thorns prick a bit. This is because beauty hurts, a meaning which i interpreted from the song’s lyrics
